This shift is a shift in posture from asking others to listening to God

Be with God.

Put yourself in the right place to meet God

Luke 4:42 – 44

Seek to be with God because He is God not because what He can do for you.

First Kings 19:11 – 13

Be ready to listen.

Too much of our time is spent talking and making requests to God and not paying attention to what He is saying.

John 10:1 – 6; 14 – 16

It’s important to be familiar with God’s voice.

Be patient and prepared to act.

In His time He will lead us in the direction that He wants us to go.
