Jonah – The Repentant – 11-14-2021

When we are in rebellion God desires that we return to him.

Jonah’s heart was hard and calloused but the Lord seeks a repentant heart.

The Lord uses circumstances to lead to repentance.

Jonah 1:17 – 2:1

God may or may not cause the circumstance that he uses to change your heart.

Jonah’s distress leads him to seek God.

We cry out to the Lord because we are aware we are in need.

God’s goodness leads us to offer thanksgiving and honor to him.

Jonah recognizes his salvation is from the Lord.
