Gentleness is the result of placing ourselves under God’s control.

Meekness is directly related to our relationship with God.

We are to be completely led and controlled by the Spirit.

Meekness is often connected to humility.

We are to follow in humility but not in weakness

Meekness is accepting God’s dealings with us.

If God is good we should find rest in God without disputing or resisting.
