Family Night Classes

This spring, our Family Nights are split into two sessions.  Below are the classes for each session.

Session 1

January 3 - February 7

  • Numbers:  Learning Contentment in a Culture of More

By exploring Numbers we can come to identify the reason we complain, learn contentment while being authentic about the difficulties of life, accept short-term hardship in light of the greater good of God’s ultimate deliverance, recognize the relationship between complaining and worry, and discover how to realign with God’s character and promises.

  • Faith Commander: Learning Five Values from the Parables of Jesus

Join the Robertson men of the hit television show, Duck Dynasty, as they tell stories and discuss some of the Bible’s most-loved parables.

  • The Kingdom

The Kingdom covers an intriguing period of Old Testament history.  It begins with Israel wanting a king like all the other nations, and concludes with the death of Solomon, Israel's third king. As we trace the lives of Samuel, Saul, David and Solomon, we learn how to handle our own crises and how to serve the Lord.

  • Our Roots Run Deep

By studying how we, as a church movement, began, we begin to understand terminology that we use, why we do things, and what was important to the Restoration Movement in the beginning.  Through writings of men like Barton Stone and the Campbell brothers, and the slogans of the period, we learn, not only the  history of our movement, but discover more about our beliefs and traditions.

Session 2

February 21 - March 28

  • Future Family

Family. We all have one.  And, we often want our Future Family to be a step up from our families of origin. When it comes to family, what does your preferred future look like?  Whether you’re starting a family, raising a family, or wondering if family's worth the effort, this study will provide you with direction and hope!  Andy Stanley will help you decide what you want your family's future to look like and help you plan how to get there.
